BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 22 – In an effort to provide introduction and exposure about the culture found in this country, Jerudong Primary School has become a destination in the Cultural Journey held yesterday in the school hall.
Among those present at the event were the Headmaster of the School, Khadijah binti Haji Gapar and the teachers of the school.
The Cultural Journey was enlivened with several activities such as music and dance performances, etiquette briefings, traditional aerobics, exhibitions, book sales, traditional cake cooking and so on.
In the event, the students of the school did not miss the opportunity to participate in any activity, among other things the purpose of the activity was to see the extent of their knowledge in Bruneian culture.
Among those involved in making the event a success are the Culture and Arts Division, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports together with the Brunei History Center, the Language and Library Council and the Youth Development Center.
The Cultural Trip is organized by the Science and Social Studies Division in conjunction with Science and Social Studies Subject Month.
