The National Weather Service issued a weather alert at 3:20 p.m. on Sunday for strong thunderstorms until 3:45 p.m. for Ross, Brown, Highland, Adams, Pike and Scioto counties.
Residents can be ready for wind gusts of up to 45 mph.
“At 3:20 p.m., a strong thunderstorm was located near Georgetown, moving east at 20 mph,” according to the weather service. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.”
