The Philadelphia Eagles have beaten the surprisingly strong New Orleans Saints and secured their second win in the third NFL game of the season. In the stadium where the Super Bowl will be played in February, the Eagles turned the close game around with a late touchdown and won 15:12.
The previously unbeaten Saints took the lead with two minutes to go, but were immediately put under pressure by a moment of carelessness and a large gain in ground by the visitors. A bad pass from Saints quarterback Derek Carr sealed the defeat. Running back Saquon Barkley played a major role in the Eagles’ victory with two touchdowns.
Barkley’s former team, the New York Giants, also had reason to celebrate.
