Showed up with a stunning performance to become the weekly champion, qualifying singer Shila Amzah to compete in the final stage of the Singing With Legends program in China.
Sharing the good news on Instagram, Shila or Nurshahila Amir Hamzah, 34, also expressed her gratitude because the efforts and commitment shown finally bore fruit.
“Alhamdulillah, we are champions this week which qualifies us to continue to the finals,” he said.
Along with the caption, Shila also shared a video of her performance singing the song Bring me to life singing Evanescence.
Not only that, the singer Break a Thousand that also challenged himself to sing a Mandarin song called Ning Meng Cao De Wei Dao with Chinese singer Julia Peng Jia Hui.
Commenting on the performance that night, Shila admitted that she was proud of her ability to sing songs outside her comfort zone.
“I like both performances because I am very happy to be able to sing genres which is different this time,” he said.
At the beginning of last September, Shila announced that she would compete in a television program in China Singing With Legends sixth season.
The program is a singing competition that highlights the pairing of legendary singers with young talents on the same stage. Meanwhile, the program is also Shila’s third participation in the country of the great wall.
In 2012, Shila won the program Asian Wave.
