BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 23 – Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) in collaboration with the Islamic Treasury Hall of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah will organize a symposium entitled In the Footsteps of Faith: Bridging Science and Spirituality in the Wisdom of the Quran on September 29 at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Islamic Treasury Hall Conference Center.
The event, among other things, aims to explore the intersection of modern scientific discoveries with spiritual teachings from the Quran, further highlighting how the two realms can come together to address contemporary global challenges.
The symposium which started at 10 am is open to all, including scholars, students and the general public, who wish to deepen their understanding of science through a spiritual lens.
In addition, it also features four distinguished speakers who will each present a unique perspective on the convergence of science and faith.
The event promises thought-provoking discussions, bringing together scientific knowledge and spiritual wisdom to address today’s global challenges.
Symposium participants are also encouraged to participate in the discussion of how the Quranic discourse and modern science can work together to create a more harmonious and sustainable world.
