Backcourt player Philipp Weber will be absent from the German handball champions SC Magdeburg for longer than initially feared. “We did a small test with him last Friday. Something new came up. We are talking about a re-injury that will last a little longer, so we have to assume that he will be out for several weeks,” reported SCM coach Bennet Wiegert.
The 32-year-old Weber had already missed the Champions League match against Norwegian champions Kolstad and the Bundesliga clash against THW Kiel due to adductor problems.
