CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio — In 2010, Mary Ann Ponce, an accountant by trade, had the vision for a “really cool” film festival in her hometown. The Chagrin Documentary Film Festival (CDFF) would serve as a tribute to her son, David, a documentarian who died at 20 of leukemia in 2006, and a celebration of the art form.
She never imagined the event would still be going on strong 15 years later.
