BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 25 – The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Brunei Darussalam held a reception to celebrate the 94th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at Tarindak D’Polo, Jerudong yesterday.
Present to represent the government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam is the Minister of Religious Affairs, Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Director Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman and his wife, Datin Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Hasbi.
Welcoming the arrival of the Honorable Minister of Religious Affairs to the ceremony was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Brunei Darussalam, His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al-Buraithin.
The ceremony started with the singing of the national anthem of Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia followed by the recitation of the holy verses of the Quran read by Ahmad Mufriz Azzawani bin Haji Mohd Zainul Ariffin Lubis.
Then the ceremony continued with a video showing the Hajj and Umrah Program: The Pilgrim Experience Program of the Programs Through Which Saudi Arabia plans to actualize Saudi Vision 2030Green Initiative Program, Riyadh Expo 2030 and Saudi 2034-Saudi Arabia Fifa World Cup 2034.
The ceremony was followed by the presentation of souvenirs completed by TYT Mohammed Abdullah Al-Buraithin to Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin.
