BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 26 Sept – His Majesty King Pengiran’s Wife and Daughter Hajah Saleha agreed to go to the Women’s Special Gathering in conjunction with the celebration of the Prophet Muhammad SAW’s birthday for the year 1446 Hijrah, at the Main Hall of Berkshire Terindak D’ Polo, Jerudong, today.
Leaving together, Her Royal Highness Pengiran’s Wife Pengiran’s Anak Sarah, Her Royal Highness Pengiran’s Daughter Hajah Majeedah Nuurul Bolkiah and Her Royal Highness Pengiran’s Daughter Hajah Masna.
The arrival of His Majesty the King’s wife along with the Royal Family was welcomed by the Minister of Religious Affairs, His Excellency Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Director Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, as Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Celebration of Islamic Days at the National Level and Musabaqah Reading Al-Quran Adult Section National Level Year 1446 Hijrah.
Also honored, the Minister of Education, Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr. Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md. Salleh as the Joint Advisor of the Women’s Special Assembly in conjunction with the celebration of the Maulud of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in the year 1446 Hijrah and also the Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation, Co-Operator; The Honorable Minister of Transport and Infocommunications Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, as Co-Coordinator of the Women’s Special Gathering in conjunction with the Celebration of the Maulud of the Prophet Muhammad SAW Year 1446 Hijrah; Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan.
The ceremony started with the Al-Quran Reading Performance by Dayangku Alya Shahirah binti Pengiran Haji Jofri, Runner-up Qariah Musabaqah National Youth Quran Recitation Final Stage Year 1445H/ 2024M.
Acting Assistant Director of Islamic Studies (Study Institutions), Ministry of Religious Affairs (KHEU), Dayang Hajah Mariana binti Haji Jamil, as Co-Chairman of the Working Committee of the Women’s Special Assembly Council in conjunction with the celebration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in the year 1446 Hijrah in a welcome prayer, among others worship, by keeping the mind guided by the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW will be able to help to live a life full of piety and tranquility.
He went on to worship, “intelligence is a very precious gift of God where lately the issue of mental health has been discussed a lot. Undoubtedly, mental health is as important as physical health, therefore the mind must be preserved and nurtured with noble values ​​and beneficial knowledge.”
In addition, he also worshiped the theme of this year’s Women’s Special Assembly, Maintaining Reason Guided by the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam.
The ceremony continued with a performance of Dikir Marhaban by a combination of KHEU officials and staff, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation, and the Brunei Darussalam Women’s Council.
The ceremony was then graced with a special talk titled Maintaining Reason Based on the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW was delivered by Clinical Psychologist / Head of Mental Health Strategy, Health Promotion Center, Ministry of Health, Dayang Nor Syahmun binti Haji Matassan.
The event continued with the recitation of greetings by Year 4 and 5 students of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Primary School, while the recitation of the Goodbye Prayer was read by the Senior Religious Officer at the Mosque Affairs Department, Dayang Noraini Yanti binti Haji Hussin.
Also present at the event were the joint advisors, co-chairmen from the joint operators of the Working Committee of the Women’s Special Assembly Council in conjunction with the celebration of the Maulud of the Prophet Muhammad SAW Year 1446 Hijrah from KHEU, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, the Sultan Haji Hassanal Foundation Bolkiah and the Brunei Darussalam Women’s Council.
