Waking up to cool and calm conditions across Kansas. A few clouds will linger for the eastern third of Kansas, the rest will see uninterrupted sunshine all day long.
Temperatures will be pleasantly warm for the Wagonmasters Downtown Chili Cookoff in Wichita this afternoon.
Highs across Kansas stay about like they have for several days, upper 80s to the west with low to middle 80s in central Kansas.
Tonight turns cool again with lows mainly in the 50s.
Tomorrow stays warm and calm, sunny skies and highs in the 80s to low 90s.
One small interruption to this steady-state forecast comes on Monday as a cold front pushes in from the northwest. This front packs some gusty winds, but moisture is lacking from this setup and the front should pass through dry.
A brief cooldown on Tuesday, but then we will return to the status quo for the late week with highs returning to the 80s. Winds look a bit stronger by this point, but still overall pleasant weather persists with no opportunities for rainfall at least within the next 7 days.
