LAKEWOOD, Ohio –
OVI: Madison Avenue
A caller at 5:37 a.m. on Sept. 19 reported a woman was passed out in the front seat of a car on Madison Avenue near Mars Avenue. Officers arrested the woman in the car for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, according to a police event report.
Disorderly conduct: W. 117th Street
An officer at 11:17 p.m. on Sept. 14 encountered a couple of vehicles stopped on W. 117th Street at Madison Avenue with their hazard lights flashing. A man was lying in the road and bleeding from the face. The man was transported to a nearby emergency room for treatment. He also was cited for disorderly conduct while intoxicated and walking along a highway while intoxicated, according to a police event report.
Theft: Clifton Road
A resident at 6:50 p.m. on Sept. 15 reported yard tools and equipment were taken from his front yard.
Concealed weapon: Winchester Avenue
An officer at 9:27 p.m. on Sept. 15 arrested a man on Winchester Avenue near Madison Avenue for carrying a concealed weapon, improper handling of firearms, and weapons under disability. The man’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
Concealed weapon: Edgewater Drive
An officer at 4:05 a.m. on Sept. 18 stopped a female driver on Edgewater near Cove Avenue and charged her with driving under suspension, carrying a concealed weapon, and improper handling of a firearm.
Disorderly conduct, firearm: Detroit Avenue
Officers at 3:54 a.m. on Sept. 19 responded to the Lakewood Emergency Department regarding two parties at the medical center for overdoses. One of them had a loaded firearm. Police charged an adult male with disorderly conduct while intoxicated, drug paraphernalia, having a weapon while intoxicated, and carrying a concealed weapon, according to a police event report.
Disorderly conduct: W. 117th Street
Officers arrested a man at 11:40 p.m. on Sept. 19 after he was accused of pulling his pants down and exposing himself to a woman stopped at a traffic light.
Theft: Detroit Avenue
A caller at 6 p.m. on Sept. 21 reported his bicycle was stolen when he left it parked outside a business on Detroit Avenue near St. Charles Avenue. It was a black and gray Mongoose BMX-style bicycle, according to a police event report.
