EAST LANSING, Mich. — The refrain for a second-straight week remained the same for the Buckeyes: A good performance with a score that indicated a lopsided affair, but with plenty of things to fix after another win that turned the final quarter-plus into a simple game.
Ohio State beat Michigan State 38-7 on Saturday night at Spartan Stadium, moving its record to 4-0 and inching closer to a showdown with Oregon on Oct. 12. The total yardage in favor of the Buckeyes was heavily tilted, and there was never a moment throughout the night that it seemed the Spartans were in danger of truly making things uncomfortable.
