BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 01 OCT – Four female students from Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Faculty of Law (FUUSHHB), Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA) attended the ASEAN Classroom Plus (ACL+) EduPelangangan program for four days at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT). , Malaysia, recently.
The students involved are from the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Syariah (BSL) programs namely Nur Aisyah binti Noor Razimi, Amyra Shaira binti Suherdy, Dayangku Siti Rasyidah Hannani binti Pengiran Dr Haji Mohamad Khairol Asmiee and Dayangku Zati Hanani binti Pengiran Ibrahim.
Earlier, present at the Brunei International Airport to wish them safe sailing were the Dean of FUUSHHB, Associate Professor Dr Ahmad Masum; Head of the Undergraduate Program at FUUSHHB, Dr Yusuf Sani Abubakar; and Head of the Graduate Program at FUUSHHB, Dr Yusuf Ibrahim Arowosaiye.
One of the aims of the program is to provide exposure through legal discussions and further increase students’ awareness of international law through intellectual discussions and knowledge exchange among participants and legal professionals.
In addition, the active involvement of participants throughout the program is intended to develop important skills such as cross-cultural communication, teamwork and critical thinking.
