BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 1 OCT – The Malaysian Malay Welfare Association (PKMS) held a Goodwill Bowling Match in conjunction with Malaysia Day 2024 held at the Golden Bowling Company, Airport Mall, recently.
The competition was officiated by the Charge d’Affaires of the High Commission of Malaysia in Bandar Seri Begawan, Nur Ezira Mahadi, who then presented prizes to the winners of the competition.
Among other things, the purpose of the event is to strengthen friendships between the Malaysian diaspora in Brunei Darussalam regardless of background, association, race and religion which coincides with the celebration of Malaysia Day.
In the match, the men’s category was won by Zaharim Tawang with a total of 356 pins, while the women’s category was won by Junaidah with a total of 282 pins. Meanwhile, the group category was won by Zaharim Tawang, Haji Shahadan & Tengku Faiz from Group 11 with a total of 834 pin drops.
All winners took home gifts in the form of hampers and accompanying gifts sponsored by Tourism Malaysia.
