BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 3 OCT – To mark the closing of the Noble Hair Room of Rasulullah SAW which has been open throughout the month of Rabiulawal 1446 Hijrah, a Blessing Ceremony was held this afternoon at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Islamic Khazanah Hall (BKISHHB).
Present as special guests are the Minister of Development, the Honorable Dato Seri Setia Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid; Deputy Minister (Public Service Administration) in the Prime Minister’s Department (JPM), Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos; and Deputy Minister (Securities and Law) at JPM, Dato Seri Paduka Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu, as members of the BKISHHB Advisory Board.
The presence of the special guests was welcomed by the Director of BKISHHB, Dr Haji Awang Mohammed Hussain bin Pehin Penyurat Haji Awang Ahmad, as the Chief Trustee of the BKISHHB Advisory Board.
Also present were the permanent secretary and deputy secretary from JPM, the Ministry of Finance and Economy, and the Ministry of Development; as well as directors and heads of departments from JPM, Department of Museums, Brunei History Center and Government Mufti Department, as trustees of the BKISHHB Advisory Board.
The ceremony began with the recitation of dikir led by students from the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Al-Quran Tahfiz Institute (ITQSHHB) and ended with the recitation of the Doa Peliharakan Sultan and Brunei Darussalam.
According to the statement, this year is the first time that the Noble Hair Room of Rasulullah SAW has been opened to the public throughout the month of Rabiulawal and will continue in the coming years.
A total of 3,769 visitors were recorded to witness for themselves and take the opportunity to pray close to the noble hair of the Prophet SAW in Gallery 3 during the opening period of the room.
Reservations for the prayer session in the room have been opened online and recorded a total of 938 participants who have attended to enliven the month of our great lord’s birth with various types of dikir and forms of prayer including Dikir Syarafil Anam, Selawat Ibrahimiyah, Selawat Tafrijiyah, Selawat Munjiyat, Selawat Fatih, Selawat Syifa, Selawat Nur, Selawat Badariyyah, Maulid Diba’ie, and others.
The Noble Hair Room of the Prophet SAW will next be opened again in January 2025 for three days in conjunction with the events of Israk and Mikraj.
