Awie remained silent in the face of the JoBranko issue

Singer Datuk Awie will not reveal the true story of the problem between him and former Wings guitarist JoBranko who has yet to find a full stop.

Awie or Ahmad Azhar Othman, 56, explained that creating a problem is not the way to solve a problem.

“Do I need to say anything? Should I open everything up so everyone knows what’s really going on? Guess that’s not me. Let him jump with his gourd,” he said.

Awie expressed this through a post on his Facebook account on Wednesday. Although it did not mention anyone’s name, it is believed that the message was addressed to the former Wings guitarist.

It’s because the statement was made after JoBranko told the media that he was open to face-to-face with Awie to restore the situation.

In the meantime, Awie apologized if his previous statement was misinterpreted by JoBranko.

“I’m sorry if I made a wrong statement, God have mercy on you,” he said.

Before this, Awie’s desire to befriend JoBranko with his group Barbarik did not come true. It follows the group allegedly paying a high price to participate in the Rock Warrior Music Festival (RWMF) organized by Awie’s Rumah Merah Entertainment.

JoBranko in a statement told Barbarik that he has the right to set an appropriate price based on experience, talent and reputation when accepting an offer.

RWMF will take place at KL Base, Sungai Besi on November 23 and 24 next.

The conflict between Awie and JoBranko started around 2016 after he decided to no longer join Wings. It is understood that disagreements occur as a result of internal conflicts that cause discomfort on both sides. – Agency
