Beachwood seeks residents’ input on what should be done at the former Fairmount Temple property

BEACHWOOD, Ohio — Mayor Justin Berns said that the city, over the next couple of months, will be asking residents what they would like to see done with the former Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple property.

The city announced in June its purchase of the property for $8 million following Fairmount Temple’s merger with Temple-Tifereth Israel and its relocation in July to its partner’s temple at 26000 Shaker Blvd. in Beachwood. The merged temple is now known as Congregation Mishkan Or.
