BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 6 OCT – In conjunction with the Puja Day Celebration of His Majesty King Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha, the Ministry of Health held a Thanksgiving Prayer Ceremony late this afternoon at Surau Nuurul ‘Inayah, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital (RIPAS ).
Present as the guest of honor at the event was the Minister of Health, the Honorable Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar.
The previous ceremony started with Fardu Maghrib prayer and Sunat Hajat in congregation led by the Head Religious Teacher, Religious Services Unit, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital, Awang Ahmad Syuja’iee bin Begawan Mudim Haji Metassim.
After the congregational prayer, the ceremony continued with the recitation of Surah Yasin and the Prayer of Thanksgiving in conjunction with the Celebration of His Majesty the King’s Wife’s Age Puja Day and ended with the recitation of the Prayer for the Protection of the Sultan and Brunei Darussalam.
Also present at the ceremony was the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin, heads of departments as well as officials and staff at the Ministry of Health.
