One day… Russian and Israeli raids in Syria

The Russian Information Agency reported that the Russian Air Force carried out strikes on two militant sites in Syria On the outskirts of the Al-Tanf area, which includes an American military base.

The agency quoted Oleg Ignasyuk, deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation between the Warring Parties in Syria, as saying that the militants had recently left the Al-Tanf area near the border with Jordan.

On the other hand, the Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that Israeli air strikes hit military sites in the center of the country, stressing that the losses were limited to material losses.

The ministry said in a statement: “On Sunday evening, the Israeli enemy launched an air attack from the north Lebanon“, targeting a number of military sites in the central region, resulting in material losses.”

The official Syrian News Agency (SANA) had previously reported that “hostile targets had been confronted in the airspace of the central region.”
