Food Network star coming to Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Television personality, author, and famed foodist Alton Brown announced his final national theater tour will visit more than 60 U.S. cities in 2025, including Wichita.

“Alton Brown Live: Last Bite” will be at the Orpheum Theatre on Thursday, May 1, for one show only at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Oct. 11, 2024, and can be purchased through Select-A-Seat—online at selectaseat.com, by phone at 316-755-SEAT, or in person at the Select-A-Seat Box Office at Intrust Bank Arena.

Brown started his career directing TV commercials when he had the idea to go to culinary school and reinvent the cooking show. The result was “Good Eats,” an irreverent, science-forward program with Brown as its star; 256 episodes aired across 16 seasons. He also hosted the iconic programs “Iron Chef America,” “Food Network Star,” and “Cutthroat Kitchen.” He has over eight million social media followers and published several books.
