BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 08 OCT – A bowling match organized by the Kampung Lambak Youth Association (PERBEKAL) drew its curtain with a prize-giving ceremony that took place recently at one of the restaurants in Kampung Sungai Akar.
Among the main objectives of the match is to unearth the talents of youth players, strengthen friendships between members and also in conjunction with the celebration of Brunei Darussalam’s National Youth Day.
Present to present the prizes was the President of PERBEKAL, Pengiran Hj Nordin bin Pengiran Hj Mahmud.
A total of 40 members took part in the match which was divided into individual group and youth categories. The group champion received the YDP trophy in addition to accompanying prizes and cash.
The event started with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a blessing prayer led by the Permanent Chairman, HJ Zakaria bin Hj Liman, followed by a speech from the Chairman of the Council, Awang Sufian bin Hj Masri.
Also present were the Perpetual Chairman, Pengiran Jofri bin Pengiran Hj Zaidi; Deputy President, Pengiran Mahari bin Pengiran Hj Tahir; 1st Vice President, Siti Seriana binti Hj Mohd Yusof and 2nd Vice President, Pengiran Abd Aziz bin Pengiran Hj Md Tahir.
