YANGON, OCT 8 – The fatal accident in Yangon resulted in two deaths and left 26 others seriously injured, an official from the rescue organization, Myint Myat Saytanar told Xinhua today.
The accident happened yesterday around 6pm local time in Hmawbi district when a vehicle carrying 71 garment workers overturned due to mechanical failure, he said.
Apart from the deaths, 26 people suffered serious injuries, while others suffered minor injuries, he added. All the injured individuals have been taken to hospital by local rescue organizations, the official said. – Xinhua
