ALCS Guardians playoff tickets: Buy seats now for possible 2024 series

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland Guardians and Detroit Tigers are battling for a spot in the MLB American League Championship Series. Tickets for the ALCS went on sale to the public today, Oct. 9, from major third-party sites.

If they advance, Cleveland will face the second-seeded New York Yankees or the fifth-seeded Kansas City Royals. The ALCS will begin either Oct. 13 or 14 at a site to be determined.

Get your tickets for Guardians baseball playoff games from Seat Geek, Vivid Seats, StubHub, Viagogo, TicketCity and Ticketmaster.

What games are at home? That information is still to be determined. The ALCS runs in a 2-3-2 format. If the Guardians face the Yankees in the ALCS, they will be home for Games 3, 4 and 5. If they face the Royals, they will be home for Games 1, 2, 6 and 7.

Visit the respective website for refund information if the event does not occur.

Recapping the ALDS against the Tigers

Game 1: In front of a sell-out crowd at Progressive Field, the Guardians jumped on the Tigers in the opener with a five-run first inning, featuring a three-run home run from July trade acquisition Lane Thomas. The highly regarded bullpen, spearheaded by the flamethrowing Emmanuel Clase, came on to close out the dominant 7-0 victory.

Game 2: The second matchup had a little bit of everything with a controversial diving grab from Steven Kwan that temporarily saved the game. AL Cy Young frontrunner Tarik Skubal delivered an eight-strikeout gem and allowed just three hits, capping off his case for the coveted award. A scoreless ninth inning caved in as Kerry Carpenter crushed a three-run home run off Clase, sending the series to Detroit even at 1-1.
