MOSCOW, OCT 10 – Vice President of the United States (US) and Democratic presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, leads her challenger from the Republican Party, former president Donald Trump, by two percentage points less than a month before the Presidential Election, according to a survey by Redfield & Wilton Strategies, reported Sputnik.
“After taking into account respondents’ likelihood of voting, 48 percent of Americans said they would vote for Kamala Harris, while 46 percent would vote for Donald Trump,” according to a poll released Tuesday.
Four percent of respondents told researchers that they are still undecided about their preferred candidate.
When asked which candidate was more likely to win the November election, 42 percent chose Harris, while 38 percent said Trump had a better chance of winning a second term in the White House. At the same time, 12 percent believe that the presidential race will be ‘balanced’, according to the survey.
The survey was conducted on October 6 involving 2,300 respondents in the United States. The researchers did not provide a margin of error. – Named
