Religious talks help Keith Foo learn about Islam

Actor Keith Foo is increasingly fond of listening to or watching religious lectures to increase his knowledge and understanding of Islam.

Keith or Foo Chuan Chin, 41, said that although he is not a Muslim, the knowledge he has gained has had a positive impact on his life.

“It’s not a bad thing if you want to learn. We can learn something from other religions. Listening to lectures can increase my knowledge to become a better person and if there is something positive I will take it,” he said mStar.

Keith shared that when met at the press conference of the drama series Missing Snow On Earth Auckland which was held at Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama yesterday.

Previously, Keith’s girlfriend who is also an actress Riena Diana revealed that the actor likes to watch religious talks on YouTube.

Acknowledging that Riena gave a lot of guidance, Keith explained that one of the things that touched his heart was the practice of charity.

He explained that he not only began to understand the meaning behind the practice but was also happy when helping others in distress.

“Sometimes I don’t understand, I will ask Riena. Like for example during the Maulidur Rasul celebration, I asked Riena what I can do to increase the reward and charity is one of them. Indirectly can help the needy. I definitely enjoyed doing that,” he said.

Refusing to take the words of criticism for granted, Keith instead looked at the criticism given from a positive angle.

“If someone talks negatively, I don’t care, but those who give positive comments take it as a lesson. It’s not my business to stop what outsiders say. I have no right to decide other people’s lives,” he explained. – Agency
