BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Oct 10 – A total of 32 parents and guardians from the Child Development Center (CDC) attended the Skill Development Course for Autism Parents and Caregivers and Effective Communication Methods which took place at Rasa Ceria Restaurant, Telanai, recently.
Themed Effective Communication Promotes Harmonythe purpose of the course is to develop and improve the skills of parents based on current trends and developments towards being more effective, creative and innovative.
Today’s educational transformation requires an increase in methods and skills to deal with challenges in education and the use of sophisticated technological equipment.
In addition, it is to increase awareness and understanding through best practices, especially in improving effective communication skills and preparing parents and guardians within the home ecosystem.
It is also an ongoing effort to help lifelong education for parents and guardians of individuals with special needs.
The event was organized by the Special Education Association (FITRAH) in collaboration with the Special Education Department (JPKhas), Ministry of Education, CDC, Ministry of Health, Kidz Discovery World (KDW), and Syarikat Jari-jariku (JJK).
