CLEVELAND, Ohio – After a sunny start to the weekend, expect things to get cooler.
The National Weather Service’s forecast calls for highs in the mid 70s with sunny skies on Friday. Clouds will increase Friday night with lows dropping into the mid 50s.
A slight chance of showers moves into the area Saturday afternoon with the greatest likelihood coming during the overnight hours. Highs Saturday will hit the upper 60s while the lows will drop to right around 50 degrees.
Sunday will see more rain chances throughout the day with highs near 70 and lows in the mid 40s.
Hazardous weather outlook
A Frost Advisory is in effect for all counties surrounding Cuyahoga county from midnight tonight through 9 a.m. Friday morning. Temperatures away from the lake could drop to as low as 33 degrees tonight, threatening sensitive outdoor vegetation.
Lake Erie marine forecast
After highs in the low 70s on Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s highs will only reach the lower 60s. Overnight lows each night will remain in the low 60s. Rain showers are expected both Saturday and Sunday. The current water temperature off of Cleveland is 68 degrees.
Work week forecast
Shower chances will extend through the first part of next week, though things could dry out by Wednesday. Both Monday and Tuesday will see highs only in the 50s.
