CLEVELAND, Ohio — Browns tackle James Hudson III posted on Instagram on Thursday he underwent surgery. Hudson had been dealing with a shoulder injury suffered during the team’s loss to the Giants.
The team has not provided details on Hudson’s surgery.
“Fresh outta surgery grind starts now! Any of my guys know the work don’t stop 😤 appreciate the team, best docs in the world!” Hudson posted on his Instagram account with a photo of him in a hospital bed with his right arm in a sling.
He also posted an Instagram story with the caption, “Be back soon” with the emoji of hands in a heart motion.
Hudson, 25, in his fourth season out of Cincinnati, has appeared in four games this season and started three as the Browns have juggled injuries at the tackle position.
A fourth-round pick in 2021, Hudson has been the Browns’ swing tackle since arriving in Cleveland. He has appeared in 49 games and started 17.
