YEAB, PPPMB seal MoU to strengthen cooperation

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 11 OCT – In a significant step towards strengthening collaboration between young entrepreneurs and established businesses, the Brunei Young Entrepreneurs Association (YEAB) and the Federation of Brunei Malay Businessmen (PPPMB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the PPPMB Headquarters, yesterday .

In a statement issued by YEAB, here, it was stated that the memorandum reinforces the long-term commitment between the two organizations to work closely together in initiatives that will empower youth and efforts at the local and international levels.

At the event, YEAB was represented by YEAB President, Goh Chai Li and YEAB II Vice President, Yang Berhormat Dayang Queenie Chong. While representing PPPMB is the President of PPPMB, Dr Haji Abdul Latif bin Haji Chuchu and the Deputy President of Economics, Rizan Latif.

The agreement marks an important moment in the joint mission of both organizations to support entrepreneurship, promote economic development and build bridges for young professionals.

YEAB and PPPMB recognize the importance of generating a dynamic ecosystem where established businesses can nurture young talent and where entrepreneurs can advance by exploring opportunities for growth.

The collaboration reflects the joint goal of both organizations to promote entrepreneurship especially among the younger generation where members of the organization will be invited to participate in relevant programs, workshops and events.

In addition, both organizations are committed to collaborate in joint initiatives as well as to collaborate in existing programs that are in line with their goals whether at the local, regional or international level,

Networking will also be a major focus under the collaboration, where YEAB and PPPMB will proactively generate networking opportunities for its members, enabling them to connect, share ideas and establish new collaborations.

Another important aspect of the memorandum is the commitment to provide opportunities to explore business development prospects for its members to encourage entrepreneurs and business leaders to consider new joint ventures, collaborations and innovations that can drive their businesses forward.

By generating access to these opportunities, the cooperation is expected to stimulate growth and entrepreneurship in Brunei’s economy.
