WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Police and emergency services responded to a shooting in south Wichita around shortly after midnight on Saturday morning.
The Wichita Police Department said a shooting call came in around 12:03 a.m. from the 4200 block of S. Hydraulic. This is the Emery Gardens apartment complex.
Once at the scene, police found one man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
During an investigation, police found another man involved in the altercation had been stabbed. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating what led up to the incident.
