Pakistan, Saudi discuss the situation in Palestine, Lebanon

NEW DELHI, 13 OCT – The Deputy Prime Minister who is also the Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar and the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal Bin Farhan yesterday held a discussion on the worsening situation in Lebanon and Palestine as Israel continues to intensify its genocidal war.

According to a Saudi News Agency report, the two ministers also reviewed bilateral relations and discussed regional and international developments.

“They discussed the situation in Palestine and Lebanon and expressed their commitment and full support for the people of Palestine and Lebanon,” according to a statement from Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry.

The Israeli regime launched massive airstrikes in Gaza, threatening to annihilate the entire population of northern Gaza.

Bombing also extended into Lebanon, with Israeli forces targeting UN peacekeepers along the ‘blue line.’

Gunfire on Friday night wounded one peacekeeper, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) said yesterday. Five UNIFIL members were reported injured in the past two days.

So far, the Zionist regime has killed 42,175 Palestinians and 2,169 people in Lebanon in a year-long genocidal war. – Named
