Former Browns offensive lineman says sticking with Deshaun Watson isn’t fair to the other players on the team

Former Browns offensive lineman says sticking with Deshaun Watson isn’t fair to the other players on the team

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Deshaun Watson’s problems continued on Sunday as the Browns lost to the Eagles on Sunday, 20-16, to fall to 1-5 on the season.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said after the game that he will stick with Watson as his starting quarterback. But one former Browns offensive lineman was not thrilled with the idea.

“It’s incredibly (bad) to do this to the rest of the team. Joel Bitonio is out there every week playing through who knows what and has to wreck his body when they have no chance of being good b/c of the QB. Myles Garrett is playing in pain every week. Feel for everyone else there,” former Browns offensive lineman Mitchell Schwartz posted on social media.
