WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Wichita community turned out for the Prairie Fire Races.
The event welcomed all skill levels to participate in a marathon, half-marathon, or 5K. For some racers, this checked a major milestone off their bucket list.
“It felt good I was tired, but it’s like all of my training leading up to this. It’s like I did it. I accomplished something I set a goal for myself to do, and I did it, and I’m proud of myself,” said Natasha Dyer, who ran the half-marathon.
The race took runners through Wichita, starting and ending at Riverfront Stadium.
