An individual came forward to apologize after actor and director Datuk Rosyam Norman filed a police report regarding defamation on social media involving his name.
Rosyam or Rosyam or Mohamed Nor Shamsuddin, 57, however, has not yet made a decision whether to proceed with the lawsuit against the individual or otherwise.
“There is a person from Kedah, he called me to apologize. Further action I have to discuss with a lawyer. So far I don’t know yet. It’s not fair if he apologizes and then it’s left and others are prosecuted. For now I am still angry. I don’t know what the next action is with the lawyer,” he said.
Rosyam was met during the press conference of the Family Duo program season four (FD4) which took place in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
Last Thursday, Rosyam made a police report after several individuals made statements that he interfered in the domestic affairs of actors Fattah Amin and Fazura. He also listed some social media operators who associated his name in the issue.
Not wanting to stay silent, for Rosyam she needs to defend herself and clear her name.
“I am involved with a big company, I also have a family. Everything is affected and covered. Many have asked me about the issue when I have never issued any statement. I don’t interfere in other people’s affairs. That’s why I made a police report and want to take legal action,” he said.
While talking about involvement as a FD4 judge, Rosyam hopes to be able to share his experience even though he is not from the singing field.
“I’m not really a singer. But I know how to judge people who sing. This program also highlights stage performances and that’s my job to judge,” he explained. – Agency
