Harris taunted Trump following a strange dance performance

WASHINGTON, 16 OCT – Kamala Harris yesterday questioned the mental state and fitness of her rival Donald Trump for the presidency of the United States (US) after his campaign turned into a strange dance session.

Three weeks before the US election, the Harris campaign has begun aggressively disputing Trump’s health and mental stability and said the former president appeared “lost, confused, and stiff on stage.”

For about half an hour, there was a strange incident at the event at the Oaks near Philadelphia last Monday, as Trump answered friendly questions from supporters about the economy.

But a momentary halt gave way to two medical emergencies in the crowd and then turned into a strange 39-minute dance performance when Trump stopped the discussion to put on his favorite song and sway awkwardly on stage.

“Who wants to hear questions, right?” he suddenly ended the question and answer session in the event and told the event organizers to amplify the sound of the song.

Trump has always done his weird dance at the end of rallies over the years, to a 1978 disco song by the Village People titled YMCA before he stepped out. However, last Monday, he remained standing on stage for nine songs including opera, Guns N’ Roses and Elvis with the former president sometimes standing upright staring at the crowd and dancing a bit.

“I hope he’s fine,” quipped Harris in X’s joke referring to the incident. – AFP
