WASHINGTON, OCT 16 – An Indian man showed off his miniature engineering skills by creating the world’s smallest washing machine measuring just 1.28 inches long, 1.32 inches wide and 1.52 inches tall.
According to United Press International (UPI), Guinness World Records confirmed that the washing machine created by Sebin Saji, which is smaller than the Tamagotchi digital pet toy, now holds the title of the world’s smallest washing machine.
In order to meet the record requirements, Saji needs to prove that his washing machine works properly and is capable of running a full cycle – wash, rinse, and dry.
The washing machine, measured using a special digital caliper, weighs just 0.88 ounces – more than the weight of two Oreo cookies.- Bernama
