BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, OCT 17 – The Ministry of Development (MOD) futsal team topped Group B for the Veteran category thus confirming progress to qualify for the quarter finals in the Inter-Ministerial Futsal Tournament in conjunction with the 31st Public Service Day (HPA) which took place yesterday .
The MOD team, which has won 2 matches and drawn once, managed to collect 7 points ahead of the Ministry of Education (MOE) team which obtained 6 points.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense Team (MINDEF) and the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism Team (MPRT) each collected 5 points and advanced to the quarter finals.
The competition for the Veteran category is divided into two groups with a total of 11 teams participating.
The quarter-final match scheduled to take place on October 22 will see the Ministry of Youth Culture and Sports (KKBS) meet MPRT, while the MOE team will test KHEDN, MOD will meet MOH and KHEU will face the MINDEF team.
The Inter-Ministerial Futsal Tournament in conjunction with the 31st Civil Service Day, Year 2024 organized by KHEDN is intended to increase the potential of players and unearth the talent of players as well as strengthen goodwill and friendly relations among civil servants.
