Dynamik, SDEC seal MoU | Gem Media Online

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 18 OCT – In a strategic collaboration aimed at accelerating digital transformation throughout Southeast Asia, Dynamik Technologies Sdn Bhd (Dynamik) and Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation Berhad (SDEC) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU).

The partnership is intended to drive the digital economy in Sarawak and Brunei thus fostering cross-border collaboration and innovation throughout Borneo.

The Chief Executive Officer of Dynamik Technologies and Co-Chair of the Borneo Economic Community (BEC), Dayang Haslina Taib emphasized the importance of the partnership by stating that the signing of the MoU marks the first step in joining a cross-border team to develop digital talent and data collaboration programs for the benefit of not only Sarawak and Brunei. , but also Borneo and ASEAN.

“Both resources in skilled talent and meaningful insights are important elements in developing transformation projects in the region and building Borneo as a Green Economic Hub and strategic investment destination of choice,” he explained.

The MoU was signed by Dayang Haslina together with the Chief Executive Officer of SDEC, Dato Is Ts Sudarnoto Osman, which was witnessed by the Minister of Education, Innovation and Talent Development Sarawak, His Excellency Dato Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn at a ceremony held in Kuching, Sarawak.

As the lead implementing partner for BEC, Dynamik will collaborate with SDEC in key areas such as technology deployment, talent development, and capacity building in data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) to develop the region’s technology talent and harness data-driven solutions for the benefit of Borneo.

Dynamik and SDEC jointly recognize the importance of having resources, expertise and a knowledge sharing framework to support project development and implementation. By nurturing digital talent and empowering businesses with the necessary tools, this partnership is poised to unlock the full potential of Borneo’s digital economy.

Dynamik’s KARYADI platform, designed to address the digital needs of businesses through low-code solutions specializing in capacity building with low-code training, certification and services outsourcing digital talent. In addition, KARYADI offers business digitization consulting services and access to a comprehensive repository of low-code solutions designed to streamline and accelerate the development process in support of the Borneo region’s Digital Economy Master Plan and Action Plan.

To complement this, the TENUN platform will serve as a regional knowledge hub for data analytics and AI, leveraging both professionals and the wider community in Borneo, fostering collaboration in data-driven digital transformation projects. This platform will play a key role in fostering technology-driven innovation and creating sustainable growth opportunities.

The MoU also emphasized the strengthening of cross-border business networks, connecting companies, innovators, and institutions from Sarawak and Brunei. Programs such as low-code training, outsourcing digital talent, and knowledge commercialization will ensure both regions have the resources and capacity to meet the demands of the growing digital economy.

This partnership is mainly focused on supporting startups, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and innovators by facilitating the transfer of technology and skills. The collaboration will foster progress in data analysis and AI, in line with the Sarawak Digital and Innovation Ecosystem (SDIE) and BEC initiatives.
