Fatah demanded immediate action to stop the genocide in Gaza

RAMALLAH, 20 OCT – The Fatah movement yesterday demanded ‘immediate and comprehensive’ action from the Arab countries and the international community to stop the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Agency reported. Anatolia.

“What is needed now is immediate and comprehensive action at all levels, from all Arab and Muslim countries and the international community to stop this ongoing genocide,” said the movement’s spokesman Abdel Fattah Dula, in a statement.

Dula also urged the parties involved to take immediate action by punishing the criminals of the occupation before they complete the plan to eliminate the people in Gaza either through murder, starvation, or deportation.

“The Israeli occupation forces made Gaza like a reservoir of blood for the Palestinian people by carrying out terrible and excessive acts of genocide, targeting areas such as Jabalia, Beit Lahiya, as well as the north and west of the Gaza Strip without stopping,” he said.

Dula said there is no urgent action against Israel to stop its crimes in Gaza as something shameful and suspicious, as if the world accepts these crimes and allows the blood of Palestinians to be shed without any hindrance or serious action.

At least 73 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a residential block in the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, according to the Gaza Media Office yesterday.

For the 15th day in a row, the Israeli army continued to launch attacks in northern Gaza. Northern Gaza is under constant siege and bombardment, with homes destroyed along with their occupants.

Israel has continued its brutal attacks on Gaza since October 7, 2023, despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire. More than 42,500 people died, mostly women and children, and nearly 99,700 people were injured, according to local health authorities.

The attack has left almost the entire population of Gaza homeless amid an ongoing blockade that has resulted in severe shortages of food, clean water and medicine. Israel is currently facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in Gaza. – Named
