BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, OCT 20 – Local Product Expo 2024 in conjunction with the 8th Brunei December Festival returns again for four days on November 28 to December 1 at Halls 1 and 2, BRIDEX, Jerudong.
The expo organized by the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (KSSUP) in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Brunei Economic Development Authority through Darussalam Enterprise (DARe) is one of the efforts to provide a platform for local entrepreneurs to promote and highlight products them to the public.
The expo also aims to further expand the product market directly to buyers, highlight and increase public awareness of products or goods produced by local entrepreneurs, provide opportunities for entrepreneurs to generate income and establish networks and business matching with other entrepreneurs.
Like last year, the 2024 expo will showcase local products and services under 13 categories, namely Agriculture and Agri-food, Business, Banking and Finance, Construction and Interior Decoration, Downstream Products and Services, Education Services, Fisheries and Seafood Processing, Food and Beverage, Tourism and Hospitality, Telecommunications and Creative Products, Transport and Logistics, Fashion and Apparel, Wood Products and others.
In addition to holding an exhibition of products and services by local entrepreneurs, the expo expects the involvement of the Combat Enterprise Agency to present combat action activities for visitors throughout the expo period.
Meanwhile, Icarus Sdn Bhd also participates by providing trampoline jumping activities suitable for the whole family, while Biofield Solutions and Shaliz Waste Recycling Sdn Bhd will be equally involved in the sustainability aspect, aiming to reduce food waste throughout the event.
Participation for the expo is now open to all local product operators who are interested in participating in the expo with the closing date for submitting complete applications on November 14, at 5pm.
