Man brandishes sword during argument with brother: Olmsted Falls police blotter

OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio

Weapons offense: Lake of the Falls Boulevard

On October 10, a caller reported he and his brother had been arguing the past several days and that the brother brought his katana sword outside and stabbed the ground with it. The suspect was arrested on a domestic violence charge.

Property damage: Lindbergh Boulevard

A resident reported finding a bullet hole on the house on October 10.

Drunk person: Douglas Lane

On October 10, a resident reported a drunk person was on the patio and lit something on fire near the front door. He said the woman was yelling, swearing, and had left and returned a few times. Police were unable to locate her.

Noise complaint: Fernwood Drive

A caller reported someone was playing loud music shortly after midnight on October 12. Police advised a nearby resident to turn the music down.

Suspicious person: Holton Road

On October 15 around 6:20 am, a woman reported that while viewing her Ring camera she saw a man wearing a reflective work jacket walk up to her door and look around. She also reported holiday flags missing from her yard.

Suspicious person: Douglas Lane

A man was reported to the police for knocking on doors and yelling for a woman named Brooke on October 15. The woman was in Brunswick, and police urged her to file a report with the Brunswick police.
