BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, OCT 21 – The Fire and Rescue Department (JBP) sent a team of five people led by Assistant Fire Chief, Awang Muhammad Rafiq bin Reduan to participate in the Competition Malaysia International Rescue Extrication Challenge (MIREC) which takes place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for three days starting tomorrow until October 24.
In connection with that, the Brunei Darussalam Flag Handover Ceremony to the fire brigade that participated in the MIREC competition was held at the Brunei International Airport (LTAB), today.
The handing over of the flag of Brunei Darussalam was completed by the Acting Director of Fire and Rescue, Awang Azmi bin Haji Hafneh to the team leader by wishing him good sailing and giving advice and words of encouragement.
Also present are senior officers and JBP members. The ceremony ended with the recitation of Doa Selamat led by ABK 563, Haji Ashri@Lini bin Haji Apong.
