HANOI, OCT 21 – Finnish data network company Nokia announced today a new collaboration with Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) to implement 5G technology in the country, German news agency (dpa) reported.
President of Nokia Mobile Networks, Tommi Uitto said the implementation of 5G will help accelerate Vietnam’s digital future.
Nokia also released its 5G products in the country.
According to Nokia, it will implement an artificial intelligence (AI)-based network management solution, MantaRay 5G that will improve the operational efficiency of the VNPT network.
VNPT’s Chief Executive Officer, Huynh Quang Liem said, “The collaboration with Nokia will enable VNPT to quickly implement a world-class 5G network and meet the growing demand of our customers in Vietnam.
5G will be the basis for driving economic development and community progress in Vietnam, thus accelerating the country’s journey towards becoming a digital economy,” he added. – Named
