Four people sent to hospital after two car crash: Gates Mills Police Blotter

GATES MILLS, Ohio

Crash: Wilson Mills Road

A two-car crash around 6:15 p.m. Oct. 15 sent the four occupants of both vehicles to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The at-fault driver was traveling westbound near the Metroparks entrance when his vehicle went left of center and struck the other vehicle, which was traveling in the opposite direction and occupied by three people.

The Kirtland man, 61, was cited for causing the accident.

Both vehicles had to be towed.

General assistance: Woodstock Road

A delivery truck became stuck in a resident’s driveway while a delivery was being made at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 15.

The truck had to towed.

Suspicion: Racebrook Road

A woman reported at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 17 that she heard a noise that made her believe somebody was breaking into her home.

Responding officers confirmed that the noise was from her daughter, who had come to the home for a visit.

Suspicious vehicle: Chagrin River Road

A resident reported at 4:30 a.m. Oct. 18 that an unknown vehicle with flashing lights was at the end of her driveway.

Officers confirmed the vehicle belonged to Spectrum Cable and checked OK.

Reckless driving: Cedar Road

A Chagrin Falls man, 31, was cited for reckless driving Oct. 18 after his vehicle was stopped for traveling 73 mph in a 35-mph zone close to the Gilmour Academy lower school.

Alarms: Daisy’s Wood Lane

Officers responded to a residence at 11:30 p.m. Oct. 13 after a home alarm went off, causing a dog to bark.

They checked the property and confirmed that everything was secure.
