For the first time working together, actor Zul Ariffin admired the talent possessed by social media personality Sofyank in creating visual special effects or VFX videos.
Zul, 37, said that he had previously known the influencer after watching several collaboration videos with foreign celebrities and felt that it was very impressive.
“When I got the chance to work with Sofyank, of course I was excited because in my opinion, Sofyank is one of the talents of Malaysians who can go far.
“Before this, I only heard and knew the name of Sofyank when people talked about animation or VFX videos that are often produced on social media.
“There are also some that I have seen and from there I can feel that he is very talented, moreover he has worked with big names abroad such as Zach King, Will Smith, Chris Hemsworth and Paul Rudd,” he said to mStar.
In the meantime, the Sheriff actor also believes Sofyank is able to help improve the quality of films that use VFX elements in Malaysia.
“It is not impossible with the potential that he has, he is able to do something for the country’s film industry, especially that involving VFX. If more people can emulate him, it’s good. Our industry needs more people like this,” he said.
For the first time wearing a superhero costume throughout his involvement in the art world, Zul said the shirt was inspired by one of the characters in the video game Forsaken World 2, the Demon Hunter.
Zul said, although the costume looks like a heavy iron suit, the truth is the opposite.
“The costume looks like iron, but it’s not heavy. I was also impressed because the costume was also produced by an international designer.
“I managed to bring the character under the direction of Sofyank in less than five hours. Everything went smoothly and most importantly I enjoyed doing it,” he explained.

While the official launch of the game will be published by VNGGames on October 22 and can be downloaded on the App Store and Google Play.
