BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 22 OCT – A total of 78 pieces of cloth for breastfeeding covers (BFC) have been donated to the Ministry of Health from the Healthy Children Committee (WI NBD) under the Committee for the Birthday Celebration of His Majesty the Sultan and the 78th Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Year 2024, which took place in the VIP Room, Brunei and Muara District Department, today.
Present as the guest of honor was the Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Professional) at the Ministry of Health, Dr Hajah Rafidah binti Haji Gharif.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by an officer from the Brunei and Muara District Department, Pengiran Haji Shahibol Esham bin Pengiran
Thursday.
The ceremony continued with a speech from WI NBD Co-Chairman, Datin Hajah Masni binti Haji Mohd Ali and then a speech from Dr Hajah Rafidah.
Next, the handover of 78 sheets of BFC from Datin Hajah Masni to Dr Hajah Rafidah.
The ceremony continued with the reading of Doa Selamat and Doa Peliharakan Sultan and Negara Brunei Darussalam read by Pengiran Haji Shahibol Esham.
Also present were WI NBD committee members, Mazroni Enterprises, the mass media as well as officials and staff from the Brunei and Muara District Departments.
