BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, OCT 23 – A total of 10 people from the first group of pilgrims from the Brunei Malay Teachers’ Federation (PGGMB) left for Jedah to perform Umrah, yesterday.
Present at the Brunei International Airport, Berakas to wish the pilgrims a happy departure was the Chairman of PGGMB Travel Service Sdn Bhd, Haji Badar bin Haji Mohd Ali.
The pilgrims in question comprise the first group out of a total of 300 pilgrims who have registered with PGGMB Travel Service Sdn Bhd to perform Umrah this year.
The next group is scheduled to leave in stages and in groups according to the dates that have been set until December.
On October 20, all the pilgrims attended an Umrah guidance briefing organized by PGGMB Travel Services Sdn Bhd as guidance and preliminary preparation for the pilgrims before leaving for the Holy Land.
