BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, OCT 24 – A 47-year-old Filipino man, Castillo Romevic Gerios, recited two shahadah words in front of officials and staff of the Dakwah Development Division which took place at the Islamic Dakwah Center (PDI) this morning.
Present as the guest of honor at the Islamization Ceremony was the Director of PDI, Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the Recitation of the Two Words of Shahadah by Castillo Romevic Gerios who is now known by his Islamic name as Muhammad Aiman ​​Castillo bin Abdullah.
The Islamic ceremony continued with the presentation of souvenirs to the new brothers who were celebrated and cheered up with Dikir Marhaban and ended with the recitation of Doa Selamat.
From the beginning of January 2024 to 23 October 2024, a total of 254 people have embraced Islam in Brunei Darussalam.
