Moving the Browns to Brook Park will enable America’s wealthiest families and executives to watch the Browns by landing at Hopkins International Airport and taking short luxury shuttle rides to the new stadium-entertainment complex — completely avoiding Cleveland, its citizens and hotels and restaurants that are not renting space from the Haslams.
This is an economic development benefit that the guardians of public money should not overlook when considering the Haslams demand for taxpayer support to build their self-contained sports city.
