WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A northern Kansas man was killed in a head-on crash Wednesday. It happened on U.S. Highway 81 in Republic County around 5 a.m.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said a Ford F-150 was southbound in the highway’s northbound lanes, and a semi was heading north. The Ford pickup hit the semi head-on.
The driver of the pickup, 20-year-old Xavier C. Robison of Republic, was killed in the crash. He wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
The driver and passenger inside the semi, both from Austin, Texas, were taken to Republic County Hospital.
